TintGel™ creates a smoother result on the automotive glass dot matrix

TintGel™ fills the black dotted area on automotive glass and helps the window film lie more evenly against the glass. The result is a smoother, more transparent surface without the white air gap that can otherwise appear around the dot matrix.

The water-soluble gel can be removed with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.

HOW TINTGEL™ WORKS

Three simple stages for a smoother finish

TintGel™ is applied to clean, dry glass before the window film. The installation solution softens and activates the gel, which then sets together with the film.

STAGE 1

Apply a thin layer

Spread TintGel™ evenly over the entire dot matrix area using a brush.

STAGE 2

Allow the gel to dry

Wait approximately 15 minutes before spraying the installation solution and positioning the window film.

STAGE 3

Install using lighter pressure

Use overlapping strokes and reduce the pressure when the squeegee reaches the dot matrix area.

NO MORE EDGE LIFT

Helps keep edges and corners in place

Window film can lift at edges and corners due to the installation or because the dot matrix dots are thick and dense. TintGel™ fills the uneven areas and acts as a transparent bond between the glass and the window film.

On removable window film, TintGel™ can also be applied along the outer edges before installation to provide extra hold.

CLEAN AND PRACTICAL FORMULA

Odourless and water-soluble

TintGel™ is odourless, water-soluble and contains no hazardous chemicals. If the gel is applied incorrectly or needs to be removed, it can be dissolved with lukewarm water and a cloth, even after it has been dry for a long time.

Please note: Brush not included. Use a small bristle or foam brush to apply a thin, even layer.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

Apply TintGel™ step by step

Follow every step and allow sufficient drying time. Thorough cleaning and a thin, even layer provide the best conditions for a clean result.

1. Avoid direct sunlight
Do not apply TintGel™ while the glass is in direct sunlight.

2. Check the temperature
The temperature must be at least +15 °C during application.

3. Clean the glass thoroughly
Clean the entire glass and pay particular attention to the dot matrix area.

4. Allow the glass to dry
Wait until the entire glass, especially the dot matrix area, is completely dry.

Finally a good product for DOT Matrix when tinting windows!

Have been looking for a good solution for DOT Matrix. Tried TintGel on the raster edges and the result was perfect! Will have it on all cars I tint in the future! Fast delivery to the UK was another plus! Will order again / Oliver - UK
